Interactive storytelling for the whole family

Just in time for Mardi Gras! Inspired by true stories and characters from the Louisiana Bayou, playwright Terra Taylor Knudson combines fact with original fiction to recreate the whimsical life of a child "Marie" and her family as they work, live and love in the bayous of New Orleans. Complete with anecdotes about the neighbors, the legends, the hazardous game Gator Ball and the infamous Voodoo Queen Marie Laveau, Child of the Bayou brings out the Cajun spice and Mardi Gras charm of life in the French Quarter and down by the Blue Bayou. Perfect for audiences of all ages. Presented in cooperation with: Unbound Booking.



An apacf valentine soiree
OTW network partners, the Anaheim Performing Arts Center Foundation presents the first afternoon soiree in a series that will celebrate music and art on special Sunday afternoons throughout 2013. At the beautiful Fox Pointe Manor estate in Anaheim Hills. Featuring Vocalists: Terra Taylor Knudson (OTW), Molly Mahoney (Broadway's "Chitty, Chitty Bang! Bang!"), Jennifer Shelton (Broadway - various). Click HERE for full details. 




Soup From a Stone:
Interactive Storytelling for Youth
This whimsical tale centers on the values of equality, friendship and teamwork. Starting her journey with nothing in her soup pot but a stone, a young girl sets out on an adventure to make soup and friends. What begins as a story of ingenuity results in a story of imagination, teamwork and creativity. Highly interactive and ideal for younger audiences. Presented in cooperation with Unbound Booking.




24-hour theatre at the long beach playhouse
Following the previous success of this event, the Long Beach Playhouse will offer a second serving of 24HR THEATRE. Writers, directors and actors  take sugguestions for 10 mins plays on Friday. Then on Saturday morning the shows are cast and directed until they are presented at 8pm Saturday night for a live audience. Featuring: OTW Founder/Artist Director Terra Taylor Knudson (playwright). APACF Mother's Day Soiree
OTW network partners, the Anaheim Performing Arts Center Foundation returns on Mother's Day with their 2nd soiree in a series that celebrates music and art on special Sunday afternoons throughout 2013.  Bardy Women: Wild Women of Shakespeare's Life & Times

Written and performed by Terra Taylor Knudson, this 60-minute one-woman show is part history lesson, part Shakespearean master class, and part stand-up comedy! Highlights include a dueling scene between two historical queens from Richard III, Joan of Arc's triumph from Henry IV, Queen Katherine of Aragon's appeal to her husband in Henry ViII, and the hilarious "266 years of history in 15 minutes". Perfect for all ages and ideal for teen and adults with an affection for literature, history and cheek.
